Tiny House, Wide Load: On the Road Again

A big thanks to Donnie Bisbee for towing the house!

Today Rose Home made the brave adventure from the carpentry school back to Nate’s house where we will work on the rest of the build.  It was a smooth operation other than scuffing a bit of the roof trim and underlayment after passing under a very low bridge, but nothing a little patching up can’t fix.

IMG_2192_FotorNot sure whether we were more relieved or excited to have the house back safe and sound!

Oh, we have windows and a door now!  The door is mostly glass to allow natural light to fill our kitchen.  Coming soon: a special post about our lovely windows.

Nate and Will. The house wrap will keep everything weathertight until we install the rest of the siding.
